A little more than two years ago, one well-traveled pair of outdoor enthusiasts set out to build a new home that captured the flavor of their much adored Costa Rican mountainside. Their imaginings led them to select a lush lot bordering a state forest preserve as their natural setting. Inspiration then evolved into a warm, Latin influenced beauty that perfectly blends their beloved nature with alfresco living and sophisticated indoor spaces.
